The Faculty of Agricultural Technology intends to develop researches, scientific and management skills associated with the application of food science and technology. This faculty also relates their curricula with the need of the industry, which includes the hospitality and tourism industry.
The faculty has three departments:
Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology
Designed for students who have interest in processing agricultural product for human consumption. Study includes food analysis, food biochemistry and nutrition, food microbiology, and food processing technology.
Department of Agro-Industrial Technology
Introduces industrial application of food science and technology and the commercial outcomes. Studies include industrial management and engineering, industrial statistics and computation, quality control, and bio-industry.
Department of Food and Agricultural Engineering
Students will study the following areas: post-harvest engineering, ergonomic and agricultural equipment engineering, development of natural resources, system and management of agricultural engineering.
